Overview
The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is one of the best all-around travel credit cards. It offers a great welcome bonus, and cardholders can earn tons of miles on everyday spending, in addition to receiving a 10,000-mile anniversary bonus to boot. It has an annual fee of $395, but cardholders can count on a $300 annual credit toward travel booked through Capital One Travel each year and other valuable benefits, like access to Capital One’s growing family of airport lounges.

Who is this card good for?
The Capital One Venture X is great for folks looking to get more from their travel experience. Capital One miles can be redeemed for one cent apiece toward travel, but they can also be transferred to 15-plus airline and hotel partners, including Air Canada Aeroplan and Choice Privileges, which can open up tremendous travel opportunities.
If you frequent airports, the card will get you into over 1,300 lounges worldwide through the Partner Lounge Network, not to mention Capital One’s swanky lounges, the first of which opened at Dallas-Fort Worth in 2021.
The Venture X is also a fantastic all-round earner, accumulating up to 10 miles per dollar spent on hotels and car rentals booked through Capital One, 5 miles per dollar spent on flights and vacation rentals booked through Capital One travel, and 2 miles per dollar spent on other purchases. This way, you can rack up even more travel rewards on your everyday spending.
Earning Rewards
TPG values Capital One miles at 1.85 cents apiece. That means the current sign-up bonus of 75,000 miles is worth an impressive $1,388 toward travel (not provided by the issuer). Apart from that, you can earn 2 miles per dollar spent on everyday purchases and at higher rates on various travel bookings made through Capital One, all of which adds up to a great return on spending.
