Overview

The Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express card is a good choice for those who spend time at Marriott properties. While it’s not a great choice for everyday spending, this card does earn 6 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases at hotels participating in the Marriott Bonvoy program. You can also redeem Marriott points at more than 8,000 Marriott locations globally.

Who is this card good for?

This credit card is great for Marriott loyalists, even if they don’t travel frequently. Cardholders earn complimentary Marriott Platinum Elite Status, Priority Pass lounge access, up to $300 in annual statement credits for restaurant purchases (up to $25 per month) and an annual free night award upon renewal. These perks allow cardholders to almost instantly make back the annual fee.
